Citizen Led Forensics-CfC (Ciencia Forense Ciudadana) is a humanitarian project, led by relatives of the disappeared, working for the right of truth in Mexico.
Citizen Led Forensics, together with Citizen-Forensics Governance, has three primal objectives:
- To establish a mechanism where citizens can systematize and co-govern forensic technologies (database, DNA banks, forums and initiatives of regulatory improvement).
- To ensure the operability of an online forensic database that is useful to document the cases.
- To have a DNA bio bank that contains biological samples from the relatives of the disappeared in Mexico, which purpose is helping as a reference for identification.
